Criss Angel Believe at the Luxor Hotel

Criss Angel Believe is a magical theatrical production in partnership with Cirque du Soleil and Criss Angel now performing at the Luxor Las Vegas. Criss Angel is the original concept creator, co-writer, illusion creator, designer and the show’s central star.

The production is a haunting exploration inside the mysterious mind of Criss Angel. It explores the demons, angels and the conflicts within, as the journey travels into a surreal world.

Before the show opens, the Ushers interact with the audience by performing simple magic tricks. Criss Angel then appears and performs a few tricks of his own.

Criss is later suited up in an outfit and enters a cage surrounding an electric coil. The power is turned on, causing sparks to fly and the theatre brought down to darkness. A shriek of pain is heard from Criss. Human-sized rabbits in doctor’s coats put him on a gurney and take him offstage.

This traumatic injury sets the premise for the rest of the show as the audience is taken on a riveting journey through Angel’s mind.

Whimsical characters in colorful costumes dance, juggle and aerial acrobatics create the scenes as illusions in his mind. Criss dramatically appears and disappears spontaneously throughout the production.

His thoughts are portrayed in abstract form played out by the cast of characters. His appearances interact with the stories message and intertwine with the illusions he performs. The dream played out unfolds as a reparation, a prison in his mind, finally to be released by love, only to be destroyed by the paparazzi, then to find reconciliation. But, it is only a dream after all.

Criss Angel Believe, the show, is a unique combination of different art elements blending his talents as a magician and illusionist with the creative theatrical style of Cirque dul Soleil.
